Check engine light

Yesterday as I was preparing to go to work I started my GV70 and got a check engine warning. I checked the app but it shows all good with no issues. Took my wife's car and called up the dealership, but the earliest they could find a slot was two weeks from now. Asked then about driving the car and the guy was trying very hard to avoid giving me a straight answer. What do you think? Should I drive it for the next two weeks or leave it parked?

If the engine seems okay, no weird sounds, shakes, or warning lights other than the check engine light, you're good to drive carefully. If not, try not to drive it much until someone looks at it.

If it's running fine and not flashing, it's probably safe for short trips, but you're gambling without knowing the code. I'd scan it myself first, cheap OBD reader can save you a big headache.
